December 2009 Mini Reunion...

December 26, 2009, Saturday, 2 o'clock in the afternoon at Letran Calamba Campus was the meeting place and later, we moved to a nearby resort to have dinner and bond with our classmates and batchmates.

It was a well planned reunion, thanks to Doctor Jayjay Meneses and everyone who helped and came to celebrate our 25 years (mini) alumni homecoming. Another one coming up on the 13th... see you there!

Look who I bumped into...

Mr. Feliciano Leonardo, Jr.! It was just sad that I met him during the wake of his sister, Ms. Salvacion Leonardo-Miranda. For some of our batchmates who graduated elementary from Maquiling School, UPLB, she was our Science teacher, remember? And just to let you know, these 2 teachers Sir Leonardo and Ate Sally, became close to my family when I was still living in the Crossing area of Los Banos.

Mr. Leonardo is currently living in Baguio City with his family, after a short stint in Papua New Guinea. I remember, it was one of my vacation in Baguio City when I saw Sir Leonardo hearing mass at the Cathedral, nahiya lang ako bumati kasi he was praying then. It was so nice to see him again! Actually, I invited him to come to our reunion in December. Let's keep in touch with him for old time sake... hehehe!

WELCOME MGA KA-BATCH AND FRIENDS!!!

...This is Issa or Marissa Virtucio as you all know me 25 years ago! I am currently a scrapbook designer and a blogger... that's why Jayjay Meneses asked me to make this site for our beloved batch and Alma Mater. Yesterday was Dana Redondo's birthday celebration and just before lunch, Laarni Punzalan texted me if I could come to party with Dana. And so, Jayjay, Laarni and I met Alona Lapitan and Elmer Ortiz at Dana's party. It was the usual "catching up" of stories of life and reminiscing for almost 5 hours of eating and drinking. The planning of our most awaited REUNION this coming December 26 has officially started with the opening of this blogspot intended for our batch. Oh! we have to give credit too to Jayjay for managing our Yahoo group.
